Audition for the NSYWE

Want to be part of the NSYWE? Here’s what you need to know to prepare for an audition.

Eligibility

NSYWE is an auditioned ensemble, with members drawn mostly from the province’s high schools and universities. Students in Grades 7-9 are encouraged to audition for the Nova Scotia Junior Wind Ensemble. However, advanced Grade 9 students may apply to NSYWE for a greater musical challenge. If you are uncertain which ensemble is the best fit for your skill level, please contact us at nsywe@eastlink.ca.
